With hands-on experience in construction starting in high school and continuing through college, a bachelors in business administration from Mary Washington College, Noll went to work with commercial property developer WJ Vakos and Company in Fredericksburg, VA in 1988. Made a move to Charlottesville, VA in 1992 to work with developer / property management company Management Service Corporation until he along with Ian Wren purchased Real Property Inc. (RPI) in 1995. In 1997 Noll & Wren purchased Property Management of Virginia and continue to oversee the operations in Waynesboro Virginia. Along with Wren, Noll fostered the growth of RPI from a small $250,000 company to the largest fee property management company in Central Virginia. In 2008, Noll and Wren sold RPI to its current shareholders. Noll is a licensed Class A general contractor and real estate broker.

Along with over 20 years experience in investment property development, construction, leasing and management; Noll has had community involvement as president of the Charlottesville Downtown Foundation, chairman of the Charlottesville Industrial Development Authority, chair of facilities oversight for Christ Episcopal Church and coaching for Soccer Organization of Charlottesville Albemarle.

Noll lives just outside the city of Charlottesville with his wife Susan & daughters Hannah & Frances.

Raised in Arlington, Virginia, graduate Yorktown High School. University of Virginia graduate with double major in History and Religion, minor in Anthropology. Manager University Dining Services, Catering Division, responsible for scheduling and personnel management of 75 employees. Travelled with future wife throughout the States until returning to Charlottesville. Worked at Real Property Inc from 1991 until he and Robby Noll purchased entity in 1995. Bought company with one employee and $250,000 budget, sold company in 2008 with 38 employees and $3,850,000 budget. As CFO and Senior Property Manager, responsible for all aspects of Property Management Division: 675 units of scattered site residential management, a variety of commercial properties and over 2000 units of Association management. Additionally, the management of all accounting and financial operations.

Before and during ownership of Real Property Inc., obtained real estate brokerage licensure, studied for CPM designation, purchased Property Management of VA, A Waynesboro a scattered site fee management company (1997 and still owned), purchased and developed commercial and residential investment property.

Wren lives just south of Charlottesville in North Garden, VA with wife and 3 children. Active in local soccer league as player and coach.
